Women’s Circle in Miles City Scripture Mini-Retreat on “Digging Women”

St. Therese Circle at Sacred Heart Parish in Miles City held their annual women’s mini retreat May 11, 2016. The theme was “Digging Women” and archeologist and religious studies professor from Rocky Mountain College, Dr. Elizabeth McNamer, from Billings gave a thought provoking talk on women in Biblical times. She talked about the daily activities and responsibilities of biblical women, and related it to Bible verses. Marie Rivard-Leyton provided entertainment; salads and desserts as well as a silent auction were enjoyed by all.
