One of the most simple yet impactful ways to build the Catholic Church (your parish or a ministry close to your heart is to include it in your will. Your bequest will make a great difference for the Church! Whether you have an existing will and just add a simple, inexpensive codicil, or if you are creating your will for the first time, the following is the type of wording to share with your advisors:
“With gratitude for all that God has given me, I give, devise and bequeath $______ (or _____% of my residuary estate) to the Catholic Foundation of Eastern Montana, Inc.” You may also add the following: “for the sole support of _______________ (either insert parish name and town, or the name of a specific ministry of our diocese, such as youth ministry, seminarian education, priest retirement, etc.).”
