On July 16, 2017, the Sacred Heart Tri-Churches had a parish picnic. It was attended by parishioners from all three churches – Sacred Heart in Bridger, St. John’s in Joliet, and St. Joseph’s in Fromberg. The Mass was celebrated at St. Joseph’s by Bishop Michael Warfel, and immediately following the Mass everyone went to the parish hall for the picnic.
The weather was beautiful and everyone had a good time. It was a great occasion for the parishioners from all three churches to get together and visit and to meet each other. There were 96 in attendance. The food was wonderful and work for putting on the meal was shared by all three communities. It was wonderful to get together, and everyone had fun and plenty to eat. Our last big gathering at St. Joseph’s was August 2015 when we had the 100th year celebration of the church, which was a big success too.
We would like to thank Father Masi for suggesting the all-parish picnic. Also, a big thank-you to all who participated in getting it all together.
