Seminarian Anthony Zilch of the Diocese of Great Falls-Billings was among the 18 students of the Pontifical College Josephinum who were installed as lectors or acolytes on Tuesday, November 1, 2017, the Solemnity of All Saints. The Most Reverend Terry LaValley, Bishop of Ogdensburg, was the principal celebrant of the Mass held in Saint Turibius Chapel.

Acolytes, traditionally second-year theologians, are entrusted with the duties of attending to the altar, assisting the deacon and priest at Mass, and distributing Holy Communion as an extraordinary minister.

Anthony is currently finishing his second year of Theological formation and, God willing, will be ordained a priest for our diocese in the summer of 2020.
