More than 50 sisters and associates celebrated milestone anniversaries June 18

MILWAUKEE, WI – On June 18, 52 U.S. School Sisters of St. Francis celebrated milestone anniversaries of service as women religious. In addition, two lay women and men in Associate Relationship with the community celebrated their 40- year Jubilee, and two celebrated their 25-year Jubilee.

Sister Germaine Werth is celebrating 75 years of consecrated life. Her ministry includes service in the Diocese of Great Falls-Billings.

Sister Germaine (Felix) Werth was born in Schoenchen, Kansas. In the Diocese of Great Falls-Billings, Montana, she was homemaker at St. Paul Mission Convent in Hays (1965-1968, 1969-1989, and 1991-1999). She is retired and serves in the ministry of prayer and presence at Sacred Heart in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where she also makes rose petal rosaries.
