On Tuesday evening September 12, 2017, in the basement of St. Benedict’s Catholic Church, a check for $500.00 from the Shopko Foundation Community Grant Program, was presented to the Roundup Montana St. Benedict’s Knights of Columbus Council 2464.
In the letter which accompanied the check, Shopko stated that they were “pleased to announce an approved grant for St. Benedict – Knights of Columbus Council 2464 in the amount of $500.00 to assist in efforts in supporting your local firefighters during this time of need. The Foundation is pleased to recognize the good work you do and applauds your efforts and commitment to support your community.”
Presenting the check on behalf of Shopko, was Pam Russell, Roundup Shopko store operations supervisor. The check was received and accepted by Pat Perrella, Past Grand Knight and Mt. Knights of Columbus DES State Chairman, on behalf of Council 2464.
Council 2464 wishes to acknowledge and say thank you, to Joan Perrella (wife of Brother Knight John Perrella) who compiled the necessary data and submitted it to Shopko.
