Pre-K Rodeo

The Holy Spirit Pre-Kindergarten students have a fun unit in the spring of each year. They learn all about our amazing state of Montana. At the end of the unit, they share a fun morning with their families and present a rodeo! Each student makes a stick-horse, gives that horse a name, and then rides the horse into the rodeo grounds. After the opening ceremonies, the cowboys and cowgirls split into groups and spend the morning at various activities like milking a cow, ridin’ the rapids, fishin’ the falls, and making s’mores. Mrs. Erickson and Mrs. Hallahan, along with the parents, wrangle the students through all ten activities. What a fun way to spend a morning!
