Natural Family Planning – Chris and Marissa Morford

Natural Family Planning has been a subtle awakening for our family and marriage. The act of NFP and charting is a standard of our life, but the blessings that come from honoring our bodies and God’s desire is truly life changing. We have been given a responsible way to keep within the guidelines of the church and realized that the church does not teach anything for her own sake, or to give us rules and laws to bind us. We are freed to live in union with Christ and His perfect and divine plan, freed from unnecessary and damaging hormones, freed from fear of aborting our children unknowingly and our conscience remains clear. There are drawbacks to the ritual, monthly abstinence, and extra task of charting, but it is an honor to us to make that small sacrifice to God and to have absolute knowledge of fertility and health.
