Over 70 students in St. Thomas the Apostle our Religious Education classes participated in this year’s Knights of Columbus ‘Keep Christ in Christmas’ poster contest. The Knights had many beautiful works of art from which to choose. Everyone who participated is certainly a winner, because they have made it more apparent to themselves and to others that Jesus is the reason for the Christmas season! The accompanying photo shows some of the winners from each grade, who received a gift certificate to support their Evangelizing ministry through art. All participants received a beautiful decoration for their family Christmas Trees of a silhouette of the child Jesus in the Manger which says ‘Believe.’ Thank you to the Parish Staff and to the all of the wonderful volunteers who make St. Thomas the Apostle a great place for children to be ‘Alive in Christ.’
