Confirmation and First Eucharist were celebrated at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Baker on April 23, 2016, at a 5:00 p.m. Mass. Candidates were from St. John’s in Baker and St. Joan of Arc Parish in Ekalaka. Rev. Jay H. Peterson, V.G., was the celebrant, with Deacon Rick Miske as the Deacon. Concelebrating were Father Thomas Tobin, Pastor Emeritus, and Father Philip Chinnappan, Pastor. A potluck supper was enjoyed by all in the church hall.
