On March 18, 2016, parishioners and priests gathered at St. Ann’s Cathedral in Great Falls to celebrate the annual Chrism Mass. Bishop Warfel presided over the renewal vows for all the priests of the Diocese, and blessed the Oil of the Sick, the Oil of Catechumens, and the Sacred Chrism.
The various oils, along with fragrant balsam, are ready to brought forward for the blessing by the Bishop.
On Friday, March 18, 2016, Bishop Warfel Celebrated the Chrism Mass in Great Falls. Prior to the Mass, the priests gathered with the Bishop for a day of recollection at St. Ann’s led by Father Tom Ogg, retired priest of the Diocese of Cheyenne.
