St. Pius X Council 9976, Billings, MT has had one very busy Columbian year. Activities include: the annual Christmas Tree/Wreath sale; the annual Tootsie Roll Drive; one fund-raising dinner; hosted coffee, rolls and donuts after two Sunday Masses; cooked, served and cleaned up for the annual RCIA/Parish Family breakfast; setup and tear down for the Family Promise of Yellowstone County families in the parish Youth Center; provided 40 Coats for Kids to four elementary schools in the Billings area; helped with parish funeral meals; worked on children and youth activities within the parish; keep the pews in the church in working order; bowled with the Special Bowlers and make sure they are having a great time; assisted the local Special Olympics; provide public bingo on Friday evenings; were involved in the 40 Days for Life program; and did it with enthusiasm and a smile with selfless efforts to make sure others are taken care of and promoting the Knights of Columbus through their words and works.

Past Grand Knight and now Council Chancellor Phil Zeeck and wife Mary participated in, and/or chaired, every one of these activities, and for their efforts were awarded the Montana State, Division 1, 2017 Family of the Year Award. An honor well deserved.
