St. Pius X Billings, MT
St. Pius X welcomed home one of its native sons, Fr. Ryan Mack, the weekend of June 8 & 9. Fr. Ryan Presided at the 5pm Mass Saturday along with Fr. Martin Ezeihuaku, MSP, and Fr. Alex Nwabuo, a diocesan priest from Nigeria, after which a reception was held in the parish’s Fellowship Hall. Fr. Ryan concelebrated the 8:30am Mass and again Presided at the 11am Mass. He was the homilist at all three Masses.
Fr. Ryan Mack, was born October 8, 1992, to James and Jennifer Mack. The Mack family registered at St. Pius X in November 1999 and have been active parishioners since. Fr. Ryan was an Altar Server and member of the Youth Group at St. Pius X while a student. Fr. Ryan graduated from Billings Central Catholic High School (BCCHS) in 2011.
Following graduation from BCCHS, he entered the Colorado School of Mines. He was involved in Fellowship for Christian University Students and Campus Ministry. Following graduation, he worked for a brief time as an engineer. In 2017, he entered St. John Vianney Theological Seminary. Fr. Ryan was ordained for priesthood in the Archdiocese of Denver, Saturday, May 11 by the Most Reverend Samuel J. Aquila. He has been assigned Chaplain to the Colorado School of Mines.
