An invitation to a Cum Christo

An invitation: Someone wanting to have you share in an experience they are involved with. That invitation could involve a lot of things. Learning, challenges, insight, discoveries, fun, laughter, fellowship… It’s easy to go on and on. With that in mind, if someone were to invite you to share an “encounter with Christ”, what would your initial thoughts be? If they tend to lean toward “I don’t feel as if I’m Ready to do that, not now anyway.” A Cum Christo weekend Experience may be what you need to help you become closer to him.

Could it be that you faith walk is moving steadily along, yet something is lacking? Maybe you feel alone in your journey, wondering what everyone else is experiencing in theirs. How do they deal with the who, what, where, and when and why’s of our Christian Faith?

If so, Then we can attest to you that a Cum Christo weekend is a great way to find out. Jesus tells
Us to fulfill the great commission be making disciples of all nations. Sounds like a daunting task and it is, no doubt. How much better would it be to have people around us to accomplish that task together! My wife and I found out in a profound way. It was through the support of our
Newfound “Friends in Christ” that we now have a firmer grip on what it means to be an authentic follower of Jesus. We are all unique in the way we were created by God for our salvation journey and we all have valuable experiences to share. Collectively we cannot help but to build up the Body of Christ within the Church.

Shelly and I have been so Blessed by the discovery of our newfound friends. It is a joy that spilled over into our extended family as well. God is good in helping us, through this movement, feel comfortable talking about His plans for us right here in our own home surrounded by those we love. What a difference that makes! So will you join us in this special invitation?
