Joyful celebrations – here they come! It’s hard for anyone, young or old, to not be hope-filled around this time of year. Thanksgiving allows us a special day to truly focus on all the gifts God has bestowed upon us, our family and friends. Then Advent ushers in a reflective, thoughtful period of waiting, when we know something wonderful is going to happen.

While giving thanks for our blessings and sharing our joy in the celebration of Christmas, the birth of our Savior, are absolutely foremost, there are also practical considerations weighing heavy for many. “Have I given what I planned to this year in charitable gifts?” This and tax-planning considerations before the year draws to a close are right up there on the minds of many Catholics.

To impact the Church for generations to come, make a gift to a permanent endowment fund at the Catholic Foundation of Eastern Montana.

Your gift can be for the benefit of your own parish or an endowment that will help throughout our diocese, such as youth ministry, seminarians or care of elderly priests. A particularly wonderful new endowment, the Parish Assistance Endowment, will help parishes struggling to make ends meet. Truly, this fund is much like the common purse of the Apostles, and it definitely needs donations so that it can be built into something long-lasting and impactful for our many churches in need of support.

Thank you for remembering the Catholic Church in your giving plans this year.
