On Sunday, September 10, 2017, Bishop Warfel, Father Steve Zabrocki, Deacon Tim Birkle and the people of St. Thomas the Apostle celebrated the completion of their parish facility renovation. The event was joyous and inspiring, beginning with the blessing of the new gathering area of the church at the start of the 10:30 a.m. Mass, reaching its high point in the celebration of the Eucharist, and concluding with the procession to bless the parish offices, community center, and feast in the community center’s first full use. This special celebration drew attention to God’s many gifts, and how the Holy Spirit calls each person to magnify the Lord’s presence as Disciples of Jesus Christ.
