Seminarian Thomas Johnson in Jerusalem

Thomas Johnson, our seminarian in Rome at the Pontifical North American College had a chance during the summer (2023) to visit the Holy Land. Thomas is finishing his first year of a four-year program there. He was with a group of seminarians who were able to visit the Roman Catholic Patriarch of Jerusalem (Emeritus); Thomas is seated to the bishop’s left. The encounter and discussion explored the challenges of ecumenism and the difficulties of the Church in Jerusalem.
