On March 23, 2017, marked the final session of the Billings St. Pius X Young Adult’s winter series of Theology on Tap. “Discerning the Will of God in your Life” was a wonderful evening of sharing faith and hearing one of their own tell his story of discernment, John Pankratz, Jr. John is studying for the priesthood at Saint Paul Seminary in Saint Paul, MN, for the Diocese of Great Falls-Billings. John shared the journey from childhood when they “played Mass,” to a young adult being called to the priesthood. He gave an honest account of the dark times, the struggle and the growing conviction that “my life is to follow Jesus Christ!” He did a wonderful job and I was so proud to call him one of ours! There were 19 young adults (5 that were there for the first time and three not-so-young adults from St. Thomas). The response to the winter series was a positive one and Andrea Carroll Gizicki, Christa Tescher and Rachel McLain, who coordinated the winter series, are working on a summer series.
