Rural Life Conference

On Saturday, May 2, 2015, the Annual Diocesan Catholic Rural Life Conference was held at St. Matthew Church Hall in Sidney. The common theme was “The Vocation of the Agricultural Leader.” Bishop Warfel gave the introductory address, followed up by James Ennis and Chris Thompson (via Skype) of the National Catholic Rural Life Conference. Chancellor Darren Eultgen, who organized the gathering, addressed, the “Joy of the Gospel Leadership Summit.” Bishop Warfel presented the “Bishop Edwin V. O’Hara Rural Life Award” to Jennifer Vaira of Charlie Creek.
