Coach Jamie Smith-Stevenson

Jamie Smith-Stevens, Great Falls Central’s one and only Cheer/Spirit Coach since the school opened for the 2000-2001 school year, was recognized as the 2015 Montana Cheer Coach of the Year by the Montana Coaches Association at their conference in Great Falls in late July. Jamie has developed the cheer program from four cheerleaders in 2000 to over twenty cheerleaders, both boys and girls, for the 2015-2016 school year. She has been selected to represent Class C schools as a member of the Montana High School Association Advisory Board. Jamie is certified by the American Association of Cheerleading Coaches and Administration to ensure safety in training and supervising cheerleaders. She is a coach for the Montana Shrine All-Star Football Game All-Star Cheerleader program. Her teams at Central have been awarded the Grand Champion award at the Class AA through Class C Cheer Fest competition in Lewistown for the past three years. Members of her team have accepted scholarships to cheer at the college level. The Mustangs wish to congratulate Coach Jamie for her award and for her many unselfish hours given to the Mustang Cheer Program. Wheat Icon
