When certain members of our city saw the disasters of wildfires and flooding on the news, Great Falls Catholic Schools stepped into action to raise money to help with the relief efforts. All three campuses know this is only the start to the need, but it is a great step to cloth the naked, feed the hungry and share the same compassion Christ called our communities to live.

We are one body and when one part of the body is suffering, we all suffer. Our Lady of Lourdes, Holy Spirit and Great Falls Central Catholic worked together as a community to share the call to help those in need. In addition, students were able to have a pajama-days in the PK-8 Schools and a casual day in the high school. All schools focused the week on praying for those in need whether in Montana, Texas or wherever natural disasters have caused stress this week. Our prayers are lifted to ask God to help those who need it most.

Great Falls Catholic Schools students and staff stem from all parts of the United States. Therefore, when one area is impacted, we are called in an especially ardent manner to respond as best as possible. The schools donated $760 to the Knights of Columbus Disaster Relief fund to help where it is needed most at this time.
