On Sunday, March 12, 2017, a group of St. Margaret parishioners in Colstrip gathered after Mass, and following directions and recipe that was developed by St. Margaret Parish in Geraldine, we made homemade biscuit mix in 50 one-gallon Ziploc bags as per instructions. Our goal was to have biscuits for the annual Knights of Columbus Fish Fry on Friday, March 17th. We made 140 biscuits for the dinner. We sold bags of biscuit mix at the Fish Fry dinner and the proceeds went to our Dignity Fund for the needy in Colstrip. We also donated bags to our local Food Bank, and we will be having a biscuit and gravy breakfast after Sunday morning Mass soon. I share this story with you because you were part of the circle that connects us with Geraldine parishioners (through Trish Eklund) and the whole diocese.
