Catholic Daughters Sidney Scholarship

Catholic Daughters Court Mother Cabrini #1766 at St. Matthew’s in Sidney held a holiday bazaar and gift card raffle on December 1-2, 2017, to support their annual $500.00 college scholarship for a student from our parish or one of its missions, as well as state and national charities. A large number of craft vendors sold items at the parish center. Our famous “Catholic” beef was served as well as vegetable stew, slush burgers, hot dogs, chips and cookies. Over $1,000 in cards had been donated from these businesses: Caring Corner Gift Shop, Cattle-Ac and Rodiron Grill, Dairy Queen, Electric Land, the SHC Fitness Center, Footers, High Caliber Sports, IGA, Johnson’s Hardware, Stockhills’ Jewelry, Lucky Buckle, Mark Anthony Salon, Meadow Lark, Peifer’s General Store, Pizza House, Quick Change Oil, Reynolds, Shopko, Simply Scrumptious Bakery, Subway, Sunny’s, Thrifty White Drug, Tractor and Supply, and Visa.
