The youth and adults of St. Margaret’s in Geraldine gathered to put together a biscuit mix for the Chouteau County Food Bank. An assembly line was set up, with each individual adding the correct portion of their ingredient into the mixing bowl. Six cups of the mixture along with recipes were put into zip-lock bags. Over 40 bags were filled. The contents can be made into biscuits, pancakes, coffee cake, cookies, and more. The very young carried the bowls to the mixing stations and empty bowls back to be filled. The efficient work of the young and the seasoned workers make this a smooth process. The Food Bank says the biscuit mix is a favorite of those who receive assistance.
