During the past 40 years, Christmas trees have been sold from the parking lot of St. Pius X Parish in Billings, MT. For the past 26 years, Billings/St. Patrick’s Council 1259 and St. Pius X Council 9976 have each donated thousands of dollars to local charities, by sharing the labor and proceeds. Similar to past years, both councils provided a total of 68 members and/or family members, who worked a total of 755 hours. The councils donated seven trees to St. Pius Church, ten trees to Angela’s Piazza and ten trees to Family Services. We also donated 25 trees to the Billings Heights Council 8345. We sold another 950 trees, 100 wreaths and 39 tree stands. Students from Central Catholic High School assist with the unloading and a donation is made to the school activities program. Customers come from as far away as 150 miles and seven cities in South-central Montana to patronize our lot. Wheat Icon
