The youth at Sacred Heart Parish in Glendive honored Mary as the mother of Jesus on May 1 with a May Crowning celebration before Mass. As the choir sang “On This Day, O Beautiful Mother,” Madison Persons crowned Mary and the children laid flowers at her feet. Father Francis Schrieber concluded the ceremony with the Hail Mary.
